Certification and Policies
We have been members of the National Marine Biological Analytical Quality Control Scheme (NMBAQCS), which is a component of the EU BEQUALM programme, for more than 10 years. This scheme offers external quality assurance for laboratories engaged in the production of marine biological data. Hebog consistently passes external quality control tests and gains high scores in the distributed invertebrate ring tests.
We believe strongly in minimising our impact on the environment and therefore adhere to a strict environmental policy and as a result of continual improvements and management we have been awarded Level 2 Green Dragon Environmental Standard, an award specifically designed for Welsh SMEs.
